The menu offers a blend of Asian and Western dishes, with particular highlights including the pandan waffle, breakfast items, and a variety of well-balanced desserts that avoid being overly sweet. Customers appreciate the presentation and quality of the food, though some note room for improvement in seasoning and sauce intensity. The cafe's coffee and refreshing drink options receive positive mentions, complemented by affable and accommodating service. Pricing aligns with a higher-end cafe experience, with value deals occasionally noted. Overall, it appeals to diners seeking a relaxed environment with decent food variety and good dessert options.
Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food was nice, grilled chicken chop sauce could be thicker, taste wise could be more flavourful, the chicken sandwich is nice. Big fries chicken piece, with a side of fries. Chicken sandwich would be nice with flavourful sauce. They also have cakes and kombucha in the fridge. Presentation ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty decent, food was plated very nicely. Nice dishware. Price ⭐⭐⭐ Standard high end cafe price. I wish the burger was cheaper because I like burgers, but I’m not going to pay rm40 for a burger. Chicken chops are around rm26-28 Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very friendly & polite staff. They were very attentive. They cleared our table as soon as we finished eating. They also suggested lunch set over the standard menu when the items were similar. Environment ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It can be a little noisy during lunch, tables are quite close together. There is very light jazz music in the background. But was too noisy to hear any music. Lighting was nice, semi dim and warm. Nice ambient indirect lights in the wall. And nice clean floorings, interior is nice and cold, there is also outdoor seating where it’s warmer and quieter.
We had the signature big breakfast and smash avocado toast for our breakfast. Their coffee is nice. For dessert, I had the panna cotta with berries compote (a must try).
New cafe and restaurant in TTDI with modern pandan hue interior. Cosy and quiet for work nomads and diners who want decent coffee and simple meals. Mixed of Asian and Western fare. CKT acceptable albeit slightly greasy on the palate. Fish and chips par for the course. Drink and cake deal (3-5pm) good value. Service affable and accommodating.
My party and I went to Pandan Cafe after dinner for desserts, and we were pleasantly surprised. The waffles and cakes we had were excellent. They weren't too sweet as well, which made it easier to eat. The drinks were very refreshing too, so it was a really good place to come after dinner. However, the food menu also looks quite good as they cater for both lunch and dinner. If the desserts we had are any indication, then it's safe to say the dinner or lunch will be just as good. Definitely recommended! Update: Went there for dinner and was very satisfied! Their Grilled Chicken Chop is their best seller, and I could understand why. Their Lemongrass rice is another of their bestseller that comes with different options. We tried the Sup Kambing option, and it was so good! Service was very good as well as all the staff were super friendly and nice. I'm looking forward to going again to try other dishes!
For me we had a good experience. But not my husband, he is hard to impress (he only prefers my cooking so he doesn’t have to pay for eating out ). We went there on Monday night, 9pm, one hour before they closes. The waiting time is not long because they almost close hihi. Sooo we had nasi lemak chicken rendang (9.9/10), grilled chicken chop (8/10) and their signature pandan waffle (10/10). The coleslaw for chicken chop is amazing. I don’t really like coleslaw, but i like it here. They put some green apples in it, and just a little mayonnaise. I can’t stand too many mayo in my coleslaw, so i appreciate this dish! The mashed potato is not mushy, it’s rather hard we asked for more gravy. Portions are big for every dishes. Place is kids & stroller friendly, with soft sofa for each tables. They gave out kids plate & cutlery too. Will come back to try their pasta pulak! And pisang goreng.
A Bite of Comfort and Surprise Dream Burger: From the first bite, the burger beef patties deliver exactly what you hope for—juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Plain Waffle: The waffles are a standout: fluffy on the inside with a subtle crunch around the edges. It’s that rare texture balance that makes each forkful satisfying, whether you’re going sweet or savory. Pandan Coconut Cake: But the real showstopper? The Pandan coconut cake. Light, aromatic, and not overly sweet, it’s a must-try. If you're in the mood for comfort food with some unexpected delights, this place deserves a visit.
